Solar Stations
Solar-radiation measurement stations for resource assessment.

EnviroMET supports solar measurement station configuration, installation, instrument care and resource assessment. These stations measure irradiance and supporting weather conditions; they are measurement systems rather than power-generation plants. Agree the observations, calibration, recording, cleaning and quality-control requirements before selecting equipment.
Configuration considerations
- Global horizontal, direct normal and diffuse horizontal irradiance as required.
- Pyranometers, pyrheliometers and tracking arrangements selected for the objective.
- Power, acquisition and communications integrated with field service access.

Define a comparable procurement scope.
| Requirement | Procurement input |
|---|---|
| 01 | Required irradiance components and weather variables |
| 02 | Sensor classification, calibration and measurement uncertainty |
| 03 | Siting, obstructions, levelling, alignment and cleaning |
| 04 | Recording intervals, quality checks and data handover |
ISO 9060 concerns relevant solar-radiation instrument classification. IEC 61724-1 concerns PV performance monitoring; resource assessment has its own agreed observation and quality requirements.
Technical questions.
Does selecting this equipment establish campaign compliance?
No. Define the applicable technical requirements, configuration, calibration, verification, field records and uncertainty treatment for the intended assessment. The quoted scope establishes the evidence and deliverables.
